Wow, what a great experience at Standard Bike Repair! Ryan allowed me to bring my bike in same day--to get a brake line fixed & a wonky transition that was occurring between gears. He was upfront about cost of repairs, quality work, and was fun to talk with as he worked his magic to get my bike back into peak condition! I highly recommend Standard Bike Repair to keep your wheels rolling.
I needed my bike to be put together after shipping it from the east coast, but I didn't know how to do it myself. Ryan offered that I could help him and I ended up doing most of the grunt work with him supervising and advising. My bike got assembled and tuned, and I learned how to do it myself next time. He even cleaned and polished my bike at the end!
Awesome bike shop! Ryan is super knowledgeable and a great guy. We are new to Boulder and needed a tire repair, I found him on google and he had great reviews...I'm so glad we found this special shop. I highly recommend seeing Ryan for all your bicycle needs!

Ryan is awesome. I had been meaning to stop by his shop for the longest time but I never tried hard enough to find it. Boy was I happy when I finally decided to look for him. I was a walk-in customer looking for a used bike, and while he doesn't sell used bikes, he spent an hour with me talking about what to look for and what's right for me. He even let me ride his own personal bike, and when a long-time customer stopped by, Ryan convinced him to let me ride his bike, too! While I haven't yet found a bike, Ryan has continued to discuss options with me via email. Once I do get a bike, I will be taking it to Standard for any and all work.
