Food was delicious, especially the special rolls and sushi. The customer service was nice. The restaurant itself was very clean, quiet, and pretty. I would want to try the lunch menu next time.
Many Japanese restaurants cannot get it right, but the quality of the food here is outstanding, and it's not too expensive. The only downsides are that they close during the middle of the day (check hours) and the space lacks an intimate atmosphere (like a fishbowl to the street).
The specials are particularly amazing. I am picky about sushi, and they always seem to have the tastiest, freshest fish in town. Closed Mondays which is a sign a Colorado sushi joint only serves fresh fish.
The only thing I haven't been impressed here is the house lager--it is just too thin for my taste buds. Stick to the Sake!
An amazing example of fine dining, and definitely my preferred Japanese restaurant here in boulder. As a student, I can't afford to eat here often, but Kasa is my go-to restaurant for special meals with my family and friends. The sushi rolls are fantastic - I really recommend the Asparagus Tempura roll. Great service - they take care of you and if you're a regular, they'll get to know you and make your experience extra special. I highly recommend!

Food was good but pricey for the amount you get. Usually an appetizer is filling enough for me. I could have ate more after my meal at Kasa.
