While I commend this reach-out effort (although I prefer NOT to be contacted on my private number, which was provided solely for that service), what had happened had happened and I cannot change my rating on *that* experience. I do hope that my experience was an "outlier" and other customers have better encounters.
Wow, is all I can say if your looking for a Mechanic, a Doctor, a Vet, a Florist, Handyman well check Mechanic off the list because this is the place, family owned and run business a true mom and pop shop, plus the honesty to tell you straight, and the expertise to get it done right.
The owner(s), in addition to their response here, called me after seeing this review and left a long message.
Explained what needed to be done and did it for a fair price.
Best in the business. Honest, knowledgeable.

This used to be a great place under management of last generation.
Needed to replace a punctured radiator, got a quote over phone which is similar to others I got, so I dropped the car there (with radiator drained on the way there). Had them check to confirm the scope of service before I left. After I was back home they called and told me it would cost $200 more because their earlier quote did not include cost of part(s). While I had the option of refusing service, I had to bite because I could not drive away with a leaked out radiator and towing it away would probably add as much cost ...
