I was looking for a unique engagement ring, and after trying multiple stores, I walked into Hurdles and was immediately impressed. Traci was incredibly helpful in walking me through the process of selecting a diamond and setting that was both within my budget and design parameters. Most importantly, my fiance loves the ring, so much so that I catch her starring at it more than once a day. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
I am beyond impressed with this shop. My fiancé and I have been in now 4 times looking at resizing the original engagement ring (they did a seamless job and very promptly, it look two days!) and then to reset my grandmother's heirloom diamond into a more modest contemporary setting after we were gifted it. They helped me in sizing and helped order me some settings that were in my budget as a graduate student from an affiliated catalogue. I wasn't sure if I'd like the catalog settings, but I thought I'd give it a shot since settings anywhere else were so much more expensive. When the settings came in two days later I fell in love with a modestly priced (around $400 14 carat gold infinity band for a solitary diamond). Jessica the women who helped me was patient and so accommodating. I never once felt like I was being up-sold for their profit. Instead they took my needs into account and went the extra mile. They only charged me 30 dollars for the resetting procedure, taking the diamond out of the old setting carefully and putting it into the new one. After finally getting the worlds most beautiful ring I told them I am going to write a review for how much I recommend this shop. There is a lot of profiteers in this business and Hurdles was leaps and bounds above the others. Thank you wholeheartedly!
I came in with a white gold necklace for a repair, I was expecting to drop the necklace off and get notified in a couple day that its been fixed however, that was not the case the woman working was able to fix the necklace in just a couple minutes while I browsed around and to top it off she didn't even charge me! Great experience and excellent customer service - thats how you bring me back in to buy a big ticket item.
Love this place! The staff does an excellent job with customer service and have extremely fair pricing. I'm definitely sticking with this store. I took my girlfriends diamond tennis bracelet in to get sized and cleaned and it came back perfectly! This is where I'll be buying her first engagement ring and probably her wedding ring!
Amazing! Their staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. They have a great selection and also do custom designs. I worked with the owner, Keith, to design a custom wedding band and it was a great experience. Keith is really talented and my ring turned out perfect! I would highly recommend Hurdle's Jewelry!
