Called to report an auto accident, was told an officer would respond, none did. If you need attention or help, you will not receive it, leaving 911 as your only option.
My direct and indirect interactions with the police have always been in line with what I'd expect of a well-funded college town that has higher than average homeless population. They are more polite than I could be interacting with the homeless population and gracefully take more than their fair share of abuse. Emergency/non emergency services have always been prompt and professional. They are not perfect but deserve a five star rating.
Very judgemental & inventive in their assumptions of people. Try to file a complaint and your otherwise wasting your time. Sorry just haven't any respect for Bullies.
Worst police force in Colorado. Self absorbed, only care about themselves the wealthy people paying their pockets. You have to call multiple times just to get them to show up. May as well take care of yourself because they won't be there for you.
One star is being very generous. I called Boulder Police because my daughter called 911 for a girl that was in distress at a party. We just wanted to know if the girl was ok. The police (and 911) NEVER EVEN filed a report (what if the girl had been drugged), never got my daughter's information (but 911 operators were needing her assistance to save this girl's life), Nothing. They were extremely rude on the phone and could have cared less about the situation or giving us any information whatsoever. I understand privacy, but a kind voice would have even been helpful. I ended up hanging up on them because they were so rude. I'm terrified to think that if my daughter needed help, would the Boulder Police Dept. really be there for her? Now, I have my doubts.
