Have needed to use the ER here on more than one occasion with my children. They are wonderful. Great doctors and staff, we feel fortunate to have such an efficient ER so close.
Sitting in the waiting room over 2 hours with my sick 3 year old and still nothing hope it's nothing serious. Dont come here you mite die in the waiting room was just told all rooms are full but I'm sitting in the waiting room with 2 people who have gone back and are now out here waiting on there rides so not only is the staff slow but they lie also
This is the second time I have been in the Emergency Room, both times were excellent.
I am a 51 year old mother of two. Olaf dress, pink patten leather shoes to paint a picture. Headed there in excruciating pain for five solid days after a cross country road trip. Could not concentrate. Had to leave work, can't sleep. Had x-rays and the ER Dr. Gives me an ibruprofhen and tells me to have a good day!!! What kind of gross negligence is this!? Disappointed? No, disgusted is more like it at the level of - lack of care. This place is worthless unless you're literally dying! They treat everyone as if they are an opiate seeking drug addict was the basis of her explanation as to why the hell I wasn't leaving the EMERGENCY ROOM with noting more than a god dam aspirin! And, it's a holiday weekend. I can't get in to see a specialist for days!
I will be eternally grateful to the emergency room and first floor medical personnel of this exceptional, professional, kind and thoughtful hospital. Everyone was extraordinary from the Registered Nurses, Nurses Aides, Respiratory, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy teams and the Hospitalist and Emergency physicians. I owe you my life and all my gratitude. I had four inpatient days after going to the Emergency Room, Now that I am home recovering, the Home Health team has been providing excellent telephone support.
The nurses here act like you are a huge inconvience to them when you come in, sometimes you will get a doctor who is okay but not great and sometimes you will just get a plain old jerk for a doctor. I recommend that if you need urgent care and can make the extra miles to go over to Good Sam. I do not like the way the nursing staff treats you here and when you don't feel well it goes a long ways when you treat someone with dignity and respect.
