I have had the great good fortune to be working with Dr. Koral, Dr. Mustian & Mary H their superb hygenist, for 12 years now. Harvard trained dentists, with a forward thinking attitude. Very conservative abut doing any extensive dental or surgical work. Big on prevention, maintenance, general good health contributing to dental & oral health. My partner has a ghastly dental history & they have been a refuge for him with the issues he was struggling to manage. They are attentive to detail, great front office staff managed by Marian, truly friendly & considerate. Long standing practice in a charming historical building down town. 1/2 block from covered, paid parking. Easy peasy! And top notch dentistry. We have no insurance, so have always paid them ourselves. I don't know how they charge such reasonable fees for such human scale attention with great Doctoring skills. Actually, I do: they are good old fashioned professionals with no attitude who know how to manage their resources so that we can afford such good care. Despite having the latest in equipment, no attempt to 'monetize' you--unlike most of Boulder these days. I can actually say that Dr. Koral contributed to a life-changing event turning out well for me. My doctor sent me to him, which tells you something, too. I truly trust them and highly recommend them.
My dentist of 30 years retired and I needed to find a new one. I have always been VERY nervous about going to the dentist, even though my old dentist was gentle and always told me what he was going to do next as he worked in my mouth. I asked for recommendations for a new dentist from my friends and decided to try Boulder Holistic Dentistry. Boy, am I glad I did! She was just as gentle as my previous dentist and talked me through each step of the way. I had to have two fillings and I never felt a thing! I hope she will be around for the next thirty years!
Wow! Dr. Burke is the most wonderful dentist I have ever worked with! She's very knowledgeable, competent and caring. I needed a holistic dentist and there are so few. I needed 9 amalgam fillings replaced and she was so amazing! She did and said things to show her genuine caring for me. For example....she would give me tiny pokes with the needle to administer the anesthetic and ask me how this felt and that felt and I barely felt any pain at all. Other dentists would give me one big shot that hurt like heck when they numbed me up. And, once I got home and over the next several days, she personally contacted me three times to see if all was well. That doesn't happen. I have never had a dentist contact me at home after my appointments to check on me. She is one in a million! I highly recommend Dr. Carmen Burke!
Excellent care from the nicest people! Not a fancy office for sure, but solid, quality dentistry with a holistic focus and fair pricing. My whole family goes here now!
Love this dentistry! Great caring people, quality service, no unnecessary appointments, low impact xrays, holistic thinking, and relatively inexpensive. And they pay for your parking at a nearby covered parking lot.
